For the seventh year, in mid-April, Bishkek has traditionally been hosting guests and exhibitors of the international construction exhibition
This year was no exception: BishkekBuild 2009 will present 40 direct and indirect exhibitors from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, and Turkey. The brands, building materials and machinery of this exhibition come from almost all countries of the CIS and Europe. The organisers expect the event will be attended by at least 2,000 people.

Igor Chudinov, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, providing official support for this event, says: “I am happy to see BishkekBuild to turn into an event that enhances the development of the construction industry in the Kyrgyz Republic, investment in this economic sector, establishment of international and inter-regional links, and which improves the significance of our country”.

Kanybek Narbayev, Director of the State Agency for Architecture and Construction at the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, said in his welcome letter for the participants of the event: “I am sure a lot of the things presented at BishkekBuild 2009 will be used in the construction industry of Kyrgyzstan. Participation in a specialised construction exhibition such as BishkeBuild 2009 will enable the enterprises to expand their sales markets and expedite promotion of the most attractive projects, technologies and equipment”.

“This year features the power section, PowerKyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyz companies participating in this section will present their new developments in electrical equipment, generators and high-voltage equipment,” says Viktor Linovitskiy, Director of ITECA-Ala-Too.
