PENOPLEX is a large Russian manufacturer of extruded polystyrene (XPS) heat-insulation under PENOPLEX® trade mark, PVC waterproofing membrane under PLASTFOIL® trade mark and roofing fasteners under FASTFIX mark. PENOPLEX was founded in 1998 when it launched the first extruded polystyrene heat-insulation manufacturing line in Russia. Nowadays PENOPLEX is a leader on the Russian market of heat-insulation materials of extruded polystyrene (XPS). Market share of PENOPLEX® in 2008 is estimated by experts as 65%. In the end of 2007 PENOPLEX launched manufacturing of PVC waterproofing membrane under PLASTFOIL® trade mark. It was the first Russian waterproofing membrane made by extrusion technology.
